HTC One max certified for use in China, mid-October unveiling likely

The HTC One max has been photographed dozens of times, but we’re not getting a good look at the phone from a trusted source – TENAA, China’s version of the FCC. TENAA’s pictures of the HTC One max look identical to previous leaks, showing off an aluminum shell which resembles the HTC One and One mini with two unique physical differences: size and a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera.

We still have no official date for the HTC One max’s unveiling, but a new rumor claims that the phone will finally be revealed to the world on October 15th. Multiple reports claim that the handset will be made available on Sprint, AT&T and O2 in Germany, so it should be safe to say that HTC is hoping to make the phone available on as many service providers as possible.

  1. HTC seems to committing suicide. They’ve decided to kill themselves. Yep.

Some one needs to be shot for allowing the htc one max to have anything less then the htc snapdragon 800… Why not just got octa core on the thing… What is this garbage about it have the same processor as the one? And why only 2 gigs or ram?

Its bad enough you can’t take out the battery or use removable storage on the thing…. Frick! Msg to htc …. Yoku have a good body! You have good stereo speakers…. Put a removable battery and storage in your devices!…… Use highest possible tech in your devices! Copy the tech of sony of their ultra for use of a stylus… Or make one of your own…

Your killing yourself’s! And I like htc products…. Well I used to :(… Sigh might have to just bite the bullet and get a note 3…:(

    1. I still hope that the rumor about the S600 or S4 Pro will be only for the Chinese version of the device, like the removable battery or microSD slot. Personally I don’t mind if it doesn’t come with removable battery or microSD but the SoC will be definitely a criteria for me. So let’s hope that the international version will be powered by the S800, if it wants to stand the competition.

  2. Please, no, keep it cheaper, and the case strong, meaning the battery and storage is fine.
