HTC One Max shown off in nearly a dozen new pictures

Are you tired of hearing about the upcoming HTC One Max? We’re not quite there yet, but we’re getting close. Fortunately, the latest round of leaked pictures appear to confirm that the HTC one Max will feature a fingerprint scanner on the back. The new pics show the senor with the back panel of the phone removed and highlight a toggle in the phone’s notification panel which gives users easy access the the fingerprint scanner’s settings.

Fingerprint scanners on smartphones aren’t anything new. Motorola tested the waters a few years back with the Atrix and rumor has it that Apple may embed a fingerprint scanner into the next iPhone’s home button. While we’re always excited about new hardware features on HTC phones, a fingerprint scanner isn’t something that we’ll be dwelling on too much. there are already a handful of built-in ways to secure your Android phone and most people (including me) never even take the time to set them up.

Do you think a fingerprint scanner is a feature which will help sell the HTC one Max?

  1. I think its just a key feature to security just as the headlines of the HTC One is Ultrapixel, Blinkfeed and Boomsound, this is just one of those.

And Yes, this is my next phone!

P.S. If you check with Patech’s new A880, you’ll see that the fingerprint scanner acts as a cursor also 😉

  2. Hope they put 8 ultrapixle camera, that would be amazing.
there is an icon of a pen along with a paper, is it a stylus feature?
Stylus could be an accessory, I predict.

    1. It’s an edit button. From there you can arrange your toggles in the order you want them displayed.

  3. I have HTC One and I love HTC for their devices, Desire S, One S, One, some of my phones and I was preparing to by One Max but it is too big, the same enromus bazel, too thick, they must work on cases and displays because the screens are gonna be large and the cases must be thin, really thin, look at LG, look at samsung s4 and note 3…
