Leaked image of Verizon HTC One hints at September launch date

After the announcement that the HTC One will be launching on Verizon “later this summer,” we now have the very first leaked image of the device. As expected, the hardware in the image above looks identical to the HTC One which is currently available on T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T here in the US. The two things which set this image apart are the Verizon 4G LTE logo next to the signal meter and the September 5th date in BlinkFeed. The date could mean absolutely nothing, but HTC has been known to use its device render images to display the launch or retail date of its devices. Since summer technically lasts until September 21st, a September 5th launch of the HTC One on Verizon is technically still under a late summer time frame.

How much longer are you willing to wait for the HTC One on Verizon before you start shopping around for a different phone or service provider?

  1. Once again, HTC is losing out on good $$$ because of their inability to get a product to the market.

    1. This had nothing to do with HTC and everything to do with Verizon. Verizon was working with HTC on a follow-up to the DNA and dropped it mid-project in favor of the One.

  2. Next time HTC make your deals with all carriers and release at the same time like Apple and Samsung. Don’t let Verizon hold you hostage. By the time you release it on Verizon, the other carriers are already offering the One at a discount.
