HTC 8XT now available from Sprint for $99.99

After nearly a year of waiting, Sprint has finally launched its first Windows Phone 8 device – the HTC 8TX. Sprint is pricing the HTC 8XT at $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract. The device may not be as stunning or as powerful as the HTC One, but it does deliver on value for those who simply can’t afford a $200 on-contract phone.

The HTC 8XT comes equipped with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSd card slot (up to 64GB), GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 1,800 mAh battery. Camera capabilities on the HTC 8XT include 1.6 megapixel front-facing camera along with an 8 megapixel main camera with LED flash, auto-focus lens, 1080p video capture and a dedicated camera button which can turn the camera on even when the device’s display is turned off. The HTC 8XT also offers multi-shot burst mode and the ability to shoot video and capture still photos simultaneously. On the audio side, the HTC 8XT comes with Beats Audio, a dedicated amplifier, front-facing stereo speakers and HDR audio recording with a dual-microphone setup.
