HTC One mini struts its stuff in 13 new pictures – rumored launch in August for €400

While HTC may not be ready to officially announce the HTC one mini, the phone can’t seem to get away from the limelight. Estonian site Forte has posted 13 new pictures of the HTC One mini along with details which suggest an August launch date and a €400 price tag. The pictures of the HTC One mini match up quite nicely with the leaked rendering from early May and the blurry picture from last week.

The site claims that the HTC One mini will feature a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 4.3-inch 720p display, and the same 4 megapixel Ultrapixel camera component found in the HTC One. On the software side, the HTC one mini is running on Android 4.2.2 with the latest version of HTC Sense.

HTC One mini sized up with the HTC One

It’s certainly nice to see clear pictures of the HTC One mini, but we’re not too fond of an August launch. Other rumors have suggested that the phone may come to market in June or July. The €400 price of the HTC One mini is a bit high when converted to US dollars ($522), but let’s not forget that a contract-free HTC One is currently selling for €650 over in Europe. We’d be shocked if the HTC One mini didn’t go for $100 with an on-contract purchase through your favorite service provider here in the US.

    1. The design of the HTC One mini is a little different than the original. The edges are slightly different and the speaker grills are not as wide. It may not be as nice as the HTC One, but it’s still 2 steps ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 mini.

  1. Nicely done, they reacted to the manufactoring problems, resulting in edges at the speakercovers, by pulling the edges up so its easier to mecanically fit the speakercovers seamlessly.

    1. The low price concerns me. I want something just as good (and as pricey) as the One, but narrower. Based on the price this will be worse in some ways. It also looks rather wide for having a 4.3″ screen.
