Rumored Facebook phone, HTC Myst, gets a slights specs bump
It’s been a month since the last HTC Myst rumor hit the web, but if the latest details are to be believed, not much has changed. According to UnwiredView, they have been able to re-confirm the specs of the HTC Myst, noting that the phone’s processor has been bumped from a 1GHz dual-core MSM8930 to a 1.5GHz, dual-core MSM8960. Other specs like the 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 4.3-inch 720p display have not changed.
On the software side, the HTC Myst is expected to run on Android Jelly Bean with a new suite of Facebook applications which will give Myst owners a unique Facebook experience. While Facebook may have quite a few loyal users, we still don’t know if the public will embrace the notion of a Facebook phone. HTC’s attempts to create a Facebook device back in 2011 failed miserably and there’s simply not enough evidence to suggest that the fate of the HTC Myst will be any different.
