Leaked white HTC One/M7 picture shows off new button layout

As we slowly inch our way closer to HTC’s February 19th press event, the final details of the HTC M7 are coming into focus. According to the latest @evleaks details, a new image of HTC’s flagship device has surfaced, showing off a full-screen social media widget and new button layout on the white HTC device which surfaced last month. At this point, we’re not exactly sure what to believe. We’re seem multiple real-world pictures and renderings of a black HTC One/M7, a silver/white HTC M7 revealed by Peter Chou himself and two separate renderings of a white HTC One/M7.

Either, HTC is getting really good at disguising its device while they are in development or HTC will be unveiling the HTC One with two distinct designs.

On top of that, details regarding the device’s User Agent Profile surfaced this weekend, reinforcing the rumors that the M7 will launch as the HTC One. While we have no evidence to dispute these claims, we’re going to be using the HTC M7 and HTC One names together for the next few days to help with the naming transition.

I hope we get this version

    yea yea, me to

Dream on. I wish myself as this is a much better looking device and even a step up from the One X’s but I doubt it.

Just how reliable is this source @evleaks?
I keep hearing about him and as good track record.

The reason why I don’t believe the leak has nothing to do with the leaker’s reputation. It’s just that there seems to be strong evidence that this will not be the new HTC One. First of all, a couple of weeks back we all saw a video of replacement parts of the alleged M7 and they were very different to this and resembling the Droid DNA instead. Furthermore, people “close’ to HTC when asked claimed that this iphone inspired leak was in no way similar to the real deal whilst the DNA clone was nearly spot on. That said, I’m no expert and might be totally wrong.

In either cases, this is almost definitely going to be my next phone hoping that it will represent a real step forward compared to my much loved One X+

I love my DNA but I have my eyes and heart set on the M7. You are right about that video and other witnesses claiming that the new Flagship resembles the DNA and 8x.

Did anyone have any accurate leaks last year before the One X/S/V event? I don’t recall anyone getting it right and the final design was a nice surprise. I think HTC did a good job releasing images of prototypes at the right time to throw people off. I’m hoping it will be the same this year.

I hope this is what the M7/One looks like or is one of the options because I don’t really like the look of the other design of the phone which is floating about but I LOVE this design :-)

  • phil

i cant decide if i love this design or dislike it.

Either way , 20 degrees C in london on feb 19th! HTC having a laugh!

I hope this is the final design! If it is, it will be a nice substitute for my One X+
