HTC still performing strong in US according to comScore

The folks over at comScore recently released their Top Smartphone OEM list for the final quarter of 2012 and HTC filed in at third.  Apple sits atop the list with 36.3% of the market, followed by Samsung with 21% of total devices.  HTC dipped slipped slightly from 12.0% in September to a 10.8% at the end of December 2012.

HTC’s slight decline in percentage is troubling, but I don’t believe will be too big of an issue in the long run.  The HTC M7 is right around the corner, and this new flagship device should help that percentage bounce back some in the first quarter of this year.  Only time will tell, but it doesn’t look like HTC’s presence in the United States is in jeopardy at all.

Do you think the M7 will help HTC regain some of it’s lost market in the US?
