HTC’s November numbers show a slight improvement thanks to new device launches

The latest numbers from HTC show that the company managed to improve its month-over-month revenue performance. Unaudited revenue for November came in at NT$21.2bn – a 23% increase from HTC’s October revenue of NT$17.2bn. While HTC has not released any official comments with the revenue figures, the uptick can most likely be accredited to the launch of new devices like the HTC 8X, HTC 8S, HTC Droid DNA and HTC J Butterfly.

While it’s nice to see HTC’s numbers heading up for once, things don’t look that impressive when we compare the numbers to what HTC posted last November. Year-over-year, HTC’s November revenue has dropped 31% with total revenue from January through November hitting NT$267.5bn, 39% lower than 2011.

We hope HTC’s newest device will help the company keep its revenue numbers up until the launch of the HTC M7 which is expected to hit the market in Q1 of 2013.

  1. I purchased an HTC Vivid and to my disappointment the voice dial doesn’t work, even though the specs says it does. That is th main reason I bought this phone in the first place. After further investigation, I found out that your software upgrade to 4.0 ICS did not include the voice dial feature. Now I’m stuck with a expensive phone that I don’t use because this is missing, and had to revert back to my old phone so that I could dial hands free from my car. You’re advertising something that you are not delivering. What’s being done to resolve this problem. I can’t believe it’s takingthis long to fix.
