Android 4.1 for European HTC One S delivered in time for Christmas
We’re sure many of you got some great presents under the Christmas tree this morning but if you’re you’re an HTC One S owner in Europe, your Christmas present may have been delivered last night. HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.1.1 update with HTC Sense 4+ to the unlocked HTC One S in Europe. The update covers an extensive list of CID’s (listed below) which should get most HTC One S owners (as long as your phone is not carrier branded) a taste of Jelly Bean this Christmas.
Android 4.1.1 for the HTC One S may not be a Christmas miracle, but it’s certainly a great gift from our friends at HTC. If you have not already received the OTA update notification, you can try to manually ping HTC’s update servers by going to Settings > About > Software updates >Check now or download the file directly from HTC. Hard to say. I know there were quite a few people who complained about that same issue, but i don’t think HTC ever formally acknowledged it. Hopefully it is fixed in this update so that HTC One S owners can start enjoying their phones again.

so after i updated my one s don’t have any issues at all home button functions pretty good and the battery life is little better then before.

Just done the update and now I’ve lost the keypad to type in my pin & unlock my phone!

My HTC got the update and everything is running smoothly, but my battery life sucks now… I used to be able to leave my phone unattended for a day and be able to use it the next day, but now, I can’t get more than 8 hours of charge…
