Verizon updates HTC 8X product page – lists November 13th “ship by” date
We know that HTC and its carrier partners are trying to get as much exposure as possible for their new Windows Phone 8 devices, but this is getting a little ridiculous. Less than 24 hours after issuing a press release which stated that the HTC 8X would be available “by Thanksgiving” – Verizon has now posted an update to the HTC 8X’s product page on its site which states that the handset “Will ship by 11/13.”
If you ask us, Verizon is simply trying to steal some attention away from AT&T’s launch of the HTC 8X. Regardless of Verizon’s intentions, we finally have a launch date for the LTE enabled HTC 8X on Verizon. All that’s left now if for T-Mobile to announce its launch date for the HTC 8X so we can stop posting these stories once and for all.

The “Ship By” date is bull excrement. Pre-Ordered 8X on the 9th, Verizon is still not shipping on the 14th.
Customer Service considers “Ship By” as estimated ship date. No commitment on when they will actually ship!
