Verizon and HTC send out press invites for November 13th event – HTC DROID DNA launch imminent?

HTC and Verizon have just send out a round on invitations to members of the press for a November 13th press event. The invitation reads: “We invite you to experience our latest collaboration.” Since the Verizon bound HTC 8X has already been officially unveiled, we’re pretty sure that the “collaboration” that Verizon and HTC are referring to is the HTC DROID DNA. While we’re excited to finally get our hands on HTC’s new flagship Android powered phone, the language on the invitation imply that the device will be exclusively available from Verizon – at least in the United States. Until we hear otherwise, the GSM enabled HTC DLX (Deluxe) should still be on track.

If the HTC DROID DNA is unveiled on November 13th, we are hoping that Verizon will also be sharing the handset’s launch date and pricing details. The handset is expected to go on sale in early December with a rumored price of $199.99 with a new two-year contract.

Stay tuned. We’ll have a lot more details by this time next week.
