Renowned HTC tipster confirms HTC DLX specs we shared last month, adds a few more

The fabled HTC device with a 5-inch full HD display is taking another ride on the rumor mill. Renowned HTC tipster @Football4PDA has tweeter out some new details about the device, confirming all the details our tipster revealed back in mid-September and adding a few more. The tweet claims that the HTC DLX features a 5-inch full HD display (presumable 1080p) 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The new specs which we have not yet been privileged to include a 12 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,500 mAh non-removable battery all running on Android 4.1.2.

We are extremely pleased that the details released by @Football4PDA today matched up perfectly with what our source sent us nearly three weeks ago. The only detail which WE got wrong was the name. Our source labeled the phone as the “HTC Dlx” (D-L-X) which we mistook for HTC dix. We subsequently assumed HTC dix was an acronym for DROID Incredible X. Our own source has confirmed tonight that the HTC DLX (Delux) name and also added that the device will have wireless charging out of the box.

If all the details we know about the HTC DLX turn out to be true, there’s really nothing left to learn about the device besides its launch date and price.

5 is to big for a screen 4.7-4.8 is perfect

So what’s up with only 16 gig of Ram? Earlier rumors had it with either 32 or 64 which seems more reasonable with no SD slot. Also the new LG is only coming with 8 or 16 and no sd slot according to rumors. How is that acceptable? Kinda makes you wonder if they are all in cahoots with the phones companies trying to get us to stream more data.

Still no micro-SD card slot. Is it really that hard to add a freaking micro-SD card slot? You know, this is one of the reasons HTC’s falling. They’ve never really taken their customers too seriously.

LTE? Band 3 (1800Hz) for the very least please HTC

No SD slot is a killer if the phone will only have 16 g’s of ram. I only bought the EVO LTE b/c of the SD slot. I have a 64 GB card in it, and it’s more than half full. I also stream and have most things in the cloud, but I do need my SD slot b/c I’m not always near Wi-Fi. At least give user’s the SD option, or have 32/64 GB of phone storage.

“Rock the World ‘ you little slant eyed buggers can’t even put a battery in a phone that’ll last thirty minutes HTC, stick your head between your legs and kiss your little butts away. I hope all of you are looking for a job buy Christmas. I will never buy anything made by you!
