The weekends are typically pretty slow, so you can imagine our surprise when we got an email which linked us to two new images of an unnamed HTC device. As you can tell from the image above and below, the mysterious HTC device sports red accents, HTC’s standard back, home and multi-tasking capacitive buttons, a red ring around the camera lens on the back of the phone, led flash, beats audio and a volume rocker along the side.
The sad news is that we have nothing which connects these new images to any of the HTC rumors which are floating around. We could assume that the red accents are there because this device is heading to Verizon. If that’s the case, the pictures handset could be the HTC 6435LVW which showed up in benchmark scores during the first week of August. Details are sparse, but HTC 6435LVW is said to feature a 5-inch 1794 x 1080 display with a mind boggling pixel density of 418 PPI and is powered by a by Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 with an Adreno 320 GPU.
But that’s jut an assumption. It could be the rumored HTC One X+ with a few red accents like the unlocked black HTC One S. For now, we give you permission to let your imagination run wild. As soon as we have more details, we’ll be sure to let you know.

And let me guess, HTC ONE X users will be forever without another upgrade right?
This is why HTC is dieing.
They give a shit if you paid $700 for a device.
HTC has been one of the most reliable manufacturers when it comes to updates. Only Asus is undeniably better, and I’m sure it’s much easier too keep a small stable of tablets updated. The One X will certainly receive an update to Jelly Bean.
HTC isn’t dieing. Their sales are down from last year, but they have maintained their profitability.
I don’t understand why people feel insulted every time a manufacturer releases a new product. The mobile sector moves quickly; a six month life-cycle isn’t unreasonable. Suicide would be failing to keep up.
The 5″ display is ostensibly 1920×1080. The area taken up by the on-screen buttons is excluded from the device info readout. That results in an actual density of 440.6 ppi.
This device clearly has Capacitive buttons.
Then maybe at the time of resolution checking, soft buttons were activated for some reason.
It’s highly unlikely such an imbecile resolution would be made. Why go for something totally off standards?
…The “800X480 instead of 854X480” era is over, right?

Probably Verizon’s entry into the One series, since the Incredible LTE isn’t based of the One series hardware.
