Android 4.0 update for the HTC Rezound now available

The excruciating wait for the HTC Rezound Android 4.0 update is finally over. Users have confirmed that Verizon has started pushing out the Ice Cream Sandwich to the phone a few hours ago. If you have not already received an update notification on your device, you can manually check for it under Menu > Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check. If you’re not able to manually trigger the update, you can grab the RUU from Android Police and manually install Android 4.0 on your Rezound.

We’re sure many of you will be extremely happy to finally have access to features like Face Unlock, Sense 3.6, the improved browser and advanced notification system found in Android 4.0, but we know some of you will probably start asking when the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the HTC Rezound will be rolling out. We have no clue.

For a closer look at what new features are included in the Android 4.0 update for the HTC Rezound, be sure to check out Verizon’s support documentation.
