Sprint releases the HTC EVO 3D Android 4.0 update
Word on the street is that Sprint has started pushing out the Android 4.0 update for the HTC EVO 3D. HTC promised to deliver the update before the end of July, which they did (just barely). The Ice Cream Sandwich update for the EVO 3D delivers all the new features Google unveiled with the new OS platform and a few custom tweaks and bug fixes specific to the device.
As with the other Android 4.0 update from HTC, users will be treated to HTC Sense 3.6 which makes the custom UI a bit lighter and more intuitive to use. It’s not as good at HTC Sense 4.0, but it’s certainly an improvement over the current version loaded on the HTC EVO 3D.
Sprint will be pushing out the update to HTC EVO 3D owners over the next week or two, but you can always try to manually ping the updated servers by pressing Menu > Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check.

So what about HTC Desire S ? it was scheduled to happen in June-July and we are in August and no OTA yet. At least provide the status to the people who are waiting.
