T-Mobile branded HTC One S spotted wearing all black

If you are already a lucky HTC One S owner, there really is not any other phone out there you would rather have… until last night! That is right folks, photos of a black HTC One S fresh out of the box have been shared online. The source suggests these black models are being awarded to T-Mobile sales associates for reaching sales goals, but wouldn’t it be nice to get your hands on one as a customer.

The new HTC One S is all black for starters and has a red ring around the rear camera lens as opposed to the blue’ish silver body with blue ring around the rear camera found on the original model. All other specs are the same as the original and listed below:

  • Dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor
  • 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display
  • 1 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage
  • Android 4.0, Sense 4.0
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 8 megapixel camera with a dedicating imaging chip and ImageSense technology

There’s no indication that T-mobile has plans to sell the black HTC One S, but we did spot an image of the handset in all black on T-Mobile’s support page over two weeks ago. What is your take on the black HTC One S? Would you trade your current phone for one if you could?

  1. I have already one. Nothing special in Germany at 1&1. Already available at German amazon. But its very amazing

    1. @KaiRune, the model currently for sale has a blue tint at the bottom that fades to silver when it gets to the top. I think it looks darker in the picutres on T-Mobile’s website than it does in the flesh.

    2. The black HTC One S is currently not available in the U.S. market. You can import it, but it does not work on t-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.

    1. Never seen it in any other color then black. That’s the only version that is sold in norway.. And it’s pure black.. Dark as night..
