Google Play adds Magazines, Television Shows and now allows Movie purchases

Today at Google I/O 2012, Google announced the addition of magazine subscription, television show, and movie purchases. TV episodes can be purchased individually, or you can purchase the entire season. You can purchase individual magazine issues or entire subscriptions with many offering a 14-day trial subscription. All these features are now available via the Google Play store app or the Google Play website.

The addition of TV, movie purchases and magazines takes Google Play one step closer to matching what iTunes has to offer. I no longer need to use iTunes to make my TV series purchases!
