T-Mobile announces HTC Sensation 4G Android 4.0 update to be available ‘very soon’
The Android 4.0 update for the HTC Sensation 4G from T-Mobile is a bit of a sore topic. HTC originally promised a March release, but the last leak we saw pointed to a mid-June rollout. But there may be some good news on the horizon. A May 2nd update to the HTC Sensation 4G support forum on T-Mobile’s site claims that the Android 4.0 update for the phone has completed its testing process and will be rolled out to customers sometime soon.
T-Mobile is not released any new more details about the update, but we’re going to assume it will be based on the same Android 4.0.3 build with HTC Sense 3.6 that has been pushed out to the European HTC Sensation and Sensation XE. The new software build will delivery all of the new features of Android 4.0, but hill cleverly hide them under an outdated skin. While the UI enhancements may be a bit outdated, users may be treated to improved handset performance which is always a welcomed enhancement..
