T-Mobile HTC One S to sell for $599 without a two-year contract

With only a few hours left before T-Mobile’s HTC one S press event in New York city, the web guys at T-Mobile have flipped the switch, revealing the unsubsidized price of the HTC One S. If you’re not interested in signing a contract when you purchase the One S from T-Mobile, be ready to hand over $599.99. The unsubsidized price for the phone is steep considering the unlocked international version of the phone (which does not work with T-Mobile’s AWS bands) is currently selling for $50 less.

T-Mobile’s on-contract pricing for the HTC One S is still not available, but we should have more details in a few hours. Is $599.99 for the HTC One S a fair price of should T-Mobile lower the price a little to make the handset upgrade a little more attractive for those who are still on their Even More Plus plans?
