You may remember back in early April that Sprint announced the EVO 4G LTE and noted that it would be available for preorder starting on May 7th. Well, a reliable source inside Sprint, has tipped that Sprint’s HTC One X variant would be available for purchase via online and retail stores on May 18th. This phone will run $199 with a new two-year contract, which is consistent with Sprint’s belief that the $200 mark is the best price point for a high-end smartphone.
This new rumor matches up with details from last week which claimed that the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE would launch on the same date. Naturally, we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from Sprint to know exactly when the HTC EVO 4G will be available
