HTC J (ISW12HT) unveiled – heading to KDDI in Japan

Japanese consumers looking to get their hands on the latest and greatest mobile technology will soon be able to purchase the newly announced HTC J (ISW12HT). The Android 4.0 handset is based on the HTC One S (which launched earlier this month in Europe) but has a few modifications which make it more suited for Japanese customers. The HTC J will run on Android 4.0.3 and will feature a slightly modified version of HTC Sense 4.0 which includes widgets similar to those on the HTC Rhyme.

The basic specifications of the HTC J are identical to those of the HTC One S, but HTC has had to redesign the phone’s shell a little in order to fit in extra components to support WiMax and One Seg mobile TV connectivity. The HTC one J also features NFC integration since mobile payments in Japan have become the standard for public transportation, vending machines across the country.

The HTC J has been specifically designed for KDDI and is expected to be available white, black and red before the end of the second quarter. Pricing and exact launch details for the HTC J should be available in the coming weeks.

Time for a trade-in of my HTC One X
Memory is my main problem with this telephone.
With this one you have a unlimited expansion of your memory.
You only have to buy more then one 32GB memorycard to expand.
Then you have te capability to realy use it as photocam when you are on holiday or some trip to the Zoo or something. And stil put on your card a lot of great games.
And a couple of battery’s come in handy too.
