HTC Incredible 4G images reveal new handset speficications

Sprint has announced the HTC EVo 4G LTE, AT&T will be launching the One X and T-Mobile’s One S could be only two weeks away from launch. But what about Verizon? The latest rumors indicate that the HTC Incredible 4G may launch before the end of April and new pictures give us a closer look at the handset’s design and specifications.

The design of the HTC Incredible 4G is a marriage between the contoured back panel of previous HTC Incredible devices and the glossy black finish from the front of the HTC Rezound.

HTC Incredible 4G specifications include a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor featuring an Adreno 225 GPU, 4-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera with HTC ImageSense and a dedicated image chip, front-facing VGA camera, NFC, MHL, LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. and will run on Android 4.0.3 skinned with HTC Sense 4.0.

The HTC Incredible 4G isn’t a direct competitor with the other HTC phones launching on other U.S. carriers, so it’s a hard to really compare it to any of them. With a 4-inch display, the size of the Incredible 4G should be on par with previous versions of the phone, making it significantly smaller than the One S and One X.

  1. Why does the US market have so many model variants – I wonder if this is one of HTC’s issues. In Europe it’s so much more streamlined.

    1. Wouldn’t it make quite it bit more sense if:
      AT&T offered: One X, S, V
      T-Mobile offered: One X, S, V
      Sprint offered One X, S, V
      Verizon offered One X, S, V
It is working fine for the iPhone to be the same on all of it’s carriers. Even if a carrier didn’t offer all three, but at least used HTC’s designs instead of having to modify it. AT&T and T-Mobile are doing a pretty good job of this.

        1. I agree as well.

Can you imagine a situation where you judged a mobile provider only by the quality of their network and customer service? =)
