We know the specs and we’ve seen countless pictures of the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, but now we may know the price of the phone thanks to Verizon’s DROID DOES website. Early this morning, the HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE made a short-lived appearance of the site, confirming the handset name and revealing the handset’s $299.99 price tag. Unfortunately, it looks like the handset’s revelation was premature and was subsequently pulled from the site. For all we know, Verizon’s web team published the page before it was completed and simply had the $299 price at a placeholder until the price is officially announced.
While there have been multiple leaks since the original HTC Fireball name within Verizon’s inventory system, Verizon has never confirmed that they are planning on releasing the DROID Incredible 4G LTE. Many speculate that Verizon will officially announce the device at CTIA.
Unfortunately, the $299.99 price tag listed for the DROID Incredible 4G isn’t going to excited many people about the phone. Compared to the HTC One X, One S and EVO 4G LTE, the Incredible 4G is a lesser phone and should be priced accordingly.
