Will sim unlocking the phone work for international use or would we have to sim unlock and unlock the bootloader as well?

    • Nick Gray

SIM unlocking the phone means you can use any SIM card for the HTC One S.

  • Steve

OMG. Because the HTC One post that was exactly the same wasn’t linkbaity enough?

I have bought a HTC Wildfire two weeks ago and it was blocked on a local network. To unlock it I used an unlocking code and this is awesome, there is no need to install any software just use a simple code. I used this website to generate my unlocking code

Just cause you got your phone unlocked, doesnt make it international version. its still USA version of htc one s. Unlocking just makes your phone usable to more then one carriers.

If you unlock your HTC ONE S, can you turn it into a regular prepaid phone?
With Boost mobile, their ‘plans’ are 50$ a month for unlimited everything.
I’m currently paying over a hundred for unlimited text and unreliable data and 500 mins a month.
Please let me know if you know how to do this or if it’s even possible. I don’t want to stay with T-Mobile.
