HTC One V heading to three regional US carriers

Officially, the HTC One S and HTC One XL have been picked up by T-Mobile and AT&T, but it now looks like the HTC One V will be getting some love from three US regional carriers.

According to the latest report from Phone Scoop, an HTC spokesperson has confirmed with them that Metro PCS, U.S. Cellular, and Virgin Mobile will all be releasing the HTC One V. Over the years, we’ve seen a few of HTC’s mid-range handsets pop up here and there on various regional carriers and we wouldn’t be surprised one bit if other regional service providers snatched up the HTC One V in the coming months.

The HTC One V may not feature a dual-core processor or a high resolution display like the One X/XL or One S, but the phone does come preloaded with Android 4.0, HTC Sense 4.0, HTC’s new Image Sense camera technology with a dedicated imaging chip. No details about the handset’s price or release date are available at this time, but we expect the US regional carriers will have the HTC One V in stores within the next 60-90 days.

We know regional carriers have been beefing up their Android offerings lately, but the HTC One V should be one of the best phones Metro PCS, U.S. Cellular, and Virgin Mobile this spring.
