Verizon reduces price of HTC Rezound to $99

It’s definitely a slow news day for HTC, but if you’re in the market for a new phone, we have some good news for you. Verizon has slashed the price of the HTC Rezound from $199 to only $99. We’re not sure how long this sale will last, but it would be an indication that they are trying to burn through inventory to make room for the HTC Fireball or the HTC DROID Incredible 3.

That being said, if you’re really interested in buying the HTC Rezound with its iBeats headphones, we recommend picking it up from Amazon where new customers can buy the phone for as little at $79.99 with a new two year contract. Yes, Verizon’s required 4G data plans are pretty steep, but they have the best 4G coverage and it’s really hard to beat Verizon’s 4G speeds.

Right now, the HTC Rezound on Verizon is the best HTC phone money can buy. For a closer look at what the device has to offer, check out our HTC Rezound review. If you own the HTC Rezound, leave us a comment below and let us know what you like about your phone.
