New HTC One X press image leaks ahead of Mobile World Congress
The last time we got a look at the HTC One X (previously known as the HTC Edge and Endeavor) was in late Q4 of 2011. Since then, things have obviously changed a little and today we’re getting another “first look” at a press image of the HTC One X which shows off the front side of the handset, prominently featuring HTC Sense 4.0 on its 4.7-inch 720p HD display.
While it’s nice to set another look at the HTC One X, some will be disappointed to see that the phone does feature three capacitive buttons below the display, contradicting the last rumor we posted which claimed that HTC has dropped the capacitive buttons on the One X in favor of on-screen buttons – similar to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The image clearly shows an aluminum frame around a display which curves slightly as it nears the side edges of the phone.
The HTC One X will be the flagship device in the HTC One family of devices for 2012. With more than 20 service providers from across the globe already signed on to carry the new phone, we’re expecting the HTC One X to be the most popular Android 4.0 handset in the first half of 2012. All we really need is a price and launch date for the HTC One X and we should be all set.
How many of you are already saving up some extra cash so that you can buy the HTC One X on the day it is released?

cool site, Nick, just found it.
to be honest, i do like the specifics but the design is not really impressing me. any word about the Zeta? maybe 5 is referring to a fifth phone, the Zeta? i’d give a fortune to get a hand on that phone.-
I wonder whether HTC have deliberately decided to stick to their round edge form factor – similar from Desire & Sensation, and just let Samsung chase and copy the iPhone designs.
I don’t mind the HTC look except i don’t like the camera sticking out the back with a big scratchable lens. Hope the back of this phone is different, but i doubt it, sadly

If the Sense 4.0 does landscape support to Home screen I will definitely get this to replace my EVO 3D

I’m more interested in the One S than this, simply because I don’t agree with some architectural decisions in the Tegra 3 and because the X is huge.
Nevertheless, it’s good to see HTC getting some good stuff out. -
thanks for the update, wasn’t aware of that.unfortunately.
anyways, don’t you guys think this phone is gonna be too big? as far as i’m concerned, i tend to like “smaller” screens, cca 4″ display would more than enough.-
There’s always the HTC One V which is expected to be the direct replacement for the HTC Desire S from last year. Smaller screen, slower processor and cheaper price.
