HTC Sensation XE to receive ICS early this year

The future just got a little brighter for Sensation XE owners in the U.K. and Europe waiting for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).  Twitter user @DEANYBOY70, recently received a response from @HTC in reply his tweet asking if ICS will be coming to the XE.  They responded stating that it will be coming early this year, but they will let him know when they have a more specific release date.

I suspect that the Amaze 4G, the U.S. variant of the Sensation XE, will likely receive an update around the same time frame once it has been finalized.  These two phones will not be the only ones receiving Ice Cream Sandwich as HTC has confirmed that several others devices will also receive this upgrade in early 2012. The Rezound, EVO 3D, and EVO Design 4G are among those to receive ICS this year.

If T-Mobile has decided that these devices are near their end-of-life as suspected, you should keep an eye out for some potential upcoming deals on these phones.
