Test image from the HTC Quattro hits the web
Until few weeks ago, we just knew HTC Flyer & Jetstream, the only two tablets from HTC. But Mobile World Congress 2012 is coming up and it looks like the HTC Quattro will be HTC’s new flagship tablet unveiled alongside phones like the HTC Edge and HTC Ville.
While we’ve already heard a bit about the HTC Quattro with it’s quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 10,1-inch display, 1GB of RAM and Beats audio integration, today’s story centers around a new image which hit the web today, reportedly taken by the HTC Quattro. Since the Android tablet is expected to feature a 2 megapixel camera on the back, we’re not at all surprised by the gainy image.
In mid-November, HTC’s Peter Chou mentioned that HTC is still interested in the tablet market, but hinted that HTC may be working on something unique which could give HTC an edge over the competition
Tablet is a market we would like to try and test, to see whether we can make ourselves stand out and prevent a me-too product.
We’re not sure of the HTC Quattro is HTC “stand out” tablet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted with any updates that come our way over the next few months.

Well, if a low quality camera helps bring down the cost of a great tablet, I’m all for it. After all, it’s a tablet not a camera.
Personally, I hope they really persevere with (or at least continue supporting) the Scribe technology. That is still pretty unique amongst tablets and may help secure a potentially important market in business & academia.
