HTC Sync now pulls data from iTunes into your new Android phone

In an effort to make its Android phones even more user friendly, HTC now offers iTunes syncing capabilities on a few of their devices. If you own the HTC Rhyme or HTC the HTC Sensation XL you can now sync your music, pictures, videos, and contacts you have organized in iTunes with your device.  Just install the latest version of HTC Sync and the software will automatically detect all the information you have in iTunes and will ask you which content you would like to sync to your device when you plug it into your computer.

There have been a few other HTC iTunes syncing workarounds on the web, but none of them ever worked as smoothly as HTC’s new option.  We’re not sure how Apple will feel about the new syncing capabilities between their iTunes software and HTC phones, but we can’t image they will be happy about it.

HTC isn’t really publicizing this new sync feature with any of their new phones, but we suspect that all of their new Android devices going forward will ship with iTunes syncing compatibility.

  1. HTC is the worst customer service related company I have ever seen. All they do is to throw new phones in the market every week. So support, no replacement parts, nothing. Soon you buy it they will throw you in the corner and look for the next idiot.

I hope Samsung and Motorola really teach a lesson to HTC. I learned mine. HTC never again.

    1. How do you really feel. Sorry to hear you are having issues with probably the best android device company, IMHO.

  2. So, I am a mac user, am I going to be able to sync well now? thanks or any other mac sollution?

  3. @alamoking sorry to hear that. What issues have you had with your HTC phone? If you’re looking for replacement parts to fix the phone on your own, you can typically find what you’re looking for on amazon.com

  4. I have had no problems with HTC customer service. We have 4 HTC phones and they have functioned excellently. I used their customer service twice, it took 2 calls but the problem I was having was fixed. I guess it depends on who is on the other side of the phone when one calls.

  5. I just purchased the HTC Rhyme phone, which happens to be my first smart phone. It is taking some time for me to get used to all the features this phone has. My sons keep telling me to return it for an i-phone because it is more “user friendly”. I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

    1. You will need to learn either one it sounds like. I personally love my android devices but have been using them since the g1. Your son ma be a good personal tech support for you though.

  6. I do not even know the way I stopped up here, but I believed this post used to
be good. I don’t realize who you might be however certainly you are going to a well-known blogger should you are not already. Cheers!
