Verizon launched HTC Rhyme sign-up page, release scheduled for September 22

There’s no doubt in our mind that HTC will be unveiling the HTC Rhyme in less than an hour.  Want proof?  Verizon has just launched a new HTC Rhyme sign-up page on their site for those who want to stay informed about the Android 2.3 phone.  If you’re still not convinced, a leaked Target document shows that the HTC Rhyme will be available starting on Thursday, September 22.  The Target ad also shows that the HTC Rhyme accessories include “tangle free” headphones (which looks very similar to a pair of Beats Tour headphones), a charm indicator which plugs into the headphone jack “so you never miss a call or text” and a docking station.

The documentation again confirms that the HTC Rhyme specs will feature a 3.7-cin WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, VGA front-facing camera, and Android 2.3.  We’re not sure of Target will have an explosive on the Plum HTC Rhyme, but we’re glad to see more confirmation that the phone will be available in other color options.
