Official spec sheets for HTC devices are typically pretty exciting, but when it comes to the HTC Bliss and Runnymede, you’ll have to forgive us if we’re not jumping out of our skin. From all the rumors, leaked ROMs, and hands-on pictures and video of the HTC Bliss we feel like we already know everything about the handset. The only thing missing is the HTC bliss release date and pricing details. The official spec sheet that has surfaced is for the GSM variant of the handset which is expected to launch in Europe next month. Verizon should be getting the CDMA version of the Bliss which is expected to feature all the same specs.
The first time we heard about the HTC Runnymede, the handsets specs, image, and tentative launch timeframe were revealed. The new documents go a little more in-depth than before, but we’re more excited about the new image. The HTC Runnymede will be 9.9mm thick (or thin – depending on how you look at it) and borrows quite a few design elements from the similarly spec’d HTC Titan which runs of Windows Phone.
We’ll have to see how things play out for the HTC Runneymed and the Bliss, but we have a feeling that they will be overlooked since HTC will soon be unveiling their fall 2011 lineup which should include phones like the HTC Amaze 4G and HTC Vigor.
