HTC Watch Available For Windows Phone In Marketplace Now!

We’ve been hearing about HTC Watch, it’s a premium service for owners of HTC Phones, to preview, and rent/buy media on demand. The app has been on the Windows Phone Marketplace for a couple of days now, and has received an update already. The only other way to access content like this at the moment is through the Zune Marketplace, from your PC. There are a couple of online stores for music, that you can access via the phone and an app, but video and movies is a bit of a void. HTC have obviously recognised a niche they could fill, and as HTC Watch has made it on to Android devices, it makes sense that they Bring it to Windows Phone.

HTC have done well to bring this app in time for the availability of their “Mango” devices, and while you can download it now there are some regional problems. I get an error that I have an unrecognised HTC device, that’s running the Mango RTM on my HD7. In some regions, it will not be found by Marketplace search, or under HTC Apps. This will be a bonus for Windows Phone users when HTC manage to support it in more markets than the US. If you are in a region that is not supported, or cannot find it via search, open this page on your phone and use the link below Smile
