HTC Vigor gets the FCC’s stamp of approval – launch imminent

If you’re need of more evidence that the HTC Vigor will be launching on Verizon’s 4G LTE network this fall, we may have just the right thing.  New documents show that the FCC has certified the HTC Vigor which includes support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network.  The FCC documents reveal that the HTC Vigor will be powered by 1620 mAh batter and it looks like 2750 mAh extended battery will also be available once the phone goes on sale.  Rumors indicate that Verizon could launch the HTC Vigor as early as October 6.  If all the other rumors about the phone turn out to be true, the HTC Vigor will feature a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.3.4, and HTC Sense 3.5.

The specs on the Vigor are amazing and could help the phone compete head-to-head with the next Nexus devices that will show up later this year.  Are any of you getting excited for the imminent launch of the HTC Vigor?
