HTC Titan heading to AT&T this fall

The HTC Titan is expected to be released in Europe in the middle of October, but it looks like AT&T customers will be the first to get their hands on the new Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) handset in the U.S. market.  AT&T’s press release did not mention the exact release date or price for the HTC Titan, but the phone is expected to be available in Q4 of 2011 along with two other Windows Phone 7.5 handsets from Samsung. As always, the HTC’s offering is expected to outshine the competition, but that could mean that AT&T will be demanding a premium for the HTC Titan.

Specs on the HTC Titan should include a 1.5 GHz processor, 4.7-inch display, 4G connectivity, 512 MB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for live video calling packed inside a super-slim 9.9mm curved body made from brushed aluminum.  As soon as we have more details on the HTC Titan release date and price, we’ll let you know.

  1. I’ve got to get a new phone ASAP, but I would hate to buy an AT&T Windows 3G phone just to see these 4Gs come out. Any update? I do get 30 days to return it, so if I can get an October release date, that would be awesome. Which is better, the HTC or one of the Samsungs?

    – Thanks!
