HTC Reveals the Sensation XE with Beats Audio

We’ve been expecting a refreshed version of the HTC Sensation for a few weeks now, so it’s no surprise that HTC has revealed the HTC Sensation XE. The Sensation XE is a modest refresh for the Sensation that includes Beats Technology that they have been promising, a larger 1,730mAh battery, 4GB of internal storage and a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. On top of all that, HTC will be including a pair of Beat earphones to make sure your audio experience with the HTC Sensation XE is as enjoyable as possible. The dimensions of the device haven’t changed, but it seems like this hasn’t stopped HTC fitting a lot more in the device.

The audio quality is a very important factor in mobile sound experience and we are working to push the boundaries not only for speech reception, but also for music, video and games up fully. The HTC sensation XE delivers a truly incredible audio experience and is a further proof that we want to offer customers the best possible mobile experience. – Jason Mackenzie HTC

Have a look at the full overview and specs at HTC’s site. The HTC Sensation XE release date is scheduled for late September in Europe and Asia.  If you plan on buying the HTC Sensation XE without a contract, the price will be set at €589, about €40 more than the current HTC Sensation is going for. Do any of you think the HTC Sensation’s upgraded specs and Beats earphones are worth the extra cash?
