HTC to unveil the HTC Omega on September 1st?

Looking for a good replacement for your HTC Windows Phone 7?  Word on the web is that HTC will be unveiling the HTC Omega on September 1st.  The HTC Omega specs include a 3.8-inch 800×480 SLCD display, 1.5 GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8 megapixel camera and Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).  All the specs listed above are still rumors, but we should expect more details about the HTC Omega to surface over the next week or so.  According to BGR, The HTC Omega will launch on T-Mobile’s network.

We know that most of you have given up on Windows Phone already, but from what we’ve seen around the mango, we’re honestly excited about the second generation of Windows Phone devices and the new potential of the OS.  Are any of you planning on picking up a new Windows Phone device from HTC this fall?
