Front-facing camera Skype support coming to new Windows Phone Mango devices

Windows Phone fans looking to snag up new Mango powered devices this fall should be thrilled to hear that Microsoft has plans to enable front-facing cameras for video calling through Skype.  The news was revealed at TechEd event in New Zealand, where Microsoft also mentioned that their Lync VoIP technology would soon be introduced for Android, iOS, and Symbian. We’re not exactly sure if Skype integration in Windows Phone 7.5 devices will be available when the first phones launch, but Microsoft could push out the new feature through an OTA update of simply roll out a Skype app in the App Store.

We honestly can’t wait to get our handset on some second generation Windows phone devices and see all the improvements Microsoft has been working on for ourselves.
