The HTC Flyer has landed! OK, maybe that’s a bit of an overstatement, but we’ve just learned that Best Buy will be taking pre-orders for the Wi-Fi HTC flyer starting on April 24th. Along with the pre-order day, Best Buy has revealed that the Wi-Fi Android tablet will be welling for $499. It’s a bit more than what we were hoping for, but certainly the limit of what we want to spend for a 7-inch HTC tablet.
As for a launch date for the HTC Flyer, Best Buy is still sticking to their previous statement, indicating that the tablet will be available sometime this spring. To be more specific, the HTC Flyer could launch any time between today and June 21st.
To pre-order the Wi-Fi HTC Flyer, simply head on over to your local Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile location on or after April 24th. We’re not anticipating huge crowds for the launch of the Flyer, but if you have plans on picking one up anyone you might as well pre-order yours just to make sure.
