Leaked HTC Desire Z Android 2.3.3 test ROM hits the web

There have been a few Gingerbread build of the HTC Vision (Desire Z and T-Mobile G2) floating around for some time, but if you want to see what the HTC test build for the handset is like, we suggest you head on over to XDA-Developers and give it a try.  From what we can gather, the Gingerbread test build works fairly well. The only modification to the Rom is that it’s been rooted, everything else is stock HTC (that means HTC Sense and all the HTC modifications that come along with it.  HTC mentioned that Gingerbread updates would be rolling out to the HTC Desire family of handsets once the new Desire S, Incredible S ,and Wildfire S went on sale.

I’m in the process of downloading the new ROM for the G2 right now.  Once I get things up and running and take the Gingerbread for a quick spin around the block, I’ll be reporting back to let you know how official test Gingerbread build feels on the G2.
