HTC Verdi to launch in June with Honeycomb and a 10-inch display?
HTC tablets are coming! The HTC Flyer may be right around the corner and it’s U.S. Cousin (HTC EVO View 4G) is expected to be unveiled at CTIA next week, but it looks like that”s only the beginning. A new documents has revealed that a major U.S. Retailer is planning on stocking a 10-inch Honeycomb tablet from HTC sometime during the month of June.
We’ve known about a larger Android tablet from HTC for quite some time(HTC Veridi), but the only launch time frame we have heard was Q2 and a June launch date fits in quite nicely right at the end of the Q2 window. Unfortunately, the price of the HTC tablet listed below is labeled as TBD, but we believe it will be priced competitively with the Motorola XOOM and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 when it finally goes on sale.
There’s no guarantee that HTC will be unveiling the HTC Verdi at CTIA, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hope. If the HTC Flyer running Gingerbread and HTC Sense has turned any of you off to an HTC tablet, hopefully they’ll be able to turn things around with a stock Honeycomb build.
