When HTC unveils new products, it typically doesn’t take long for online retails to launch their pre-order pages. This time around, the honor goes to the HTC Flyer, which has just been listed on Amazon.de for a fairly reasonable €669. If you crunch the numbers, that price tag converts to $900 which does sound quite expensive though that price tag does include a 19% VAT which brings the HTC Flyers real price down to roughly $755. With carrier subsidies, the price should be significantly lower and hopefully we’ll see a dramatic price drop on the HTC Flyer once it’s been on the market for a few months. There’s no doubt that the HTC Flyer was the most exciting product announced in HTC’s Mobile world Congress lineup. Let’s just hope that excitement translates into some descent sales so that HTC will deliver even more tablets down the road.
