Telus giving away an XBOX 360 with the new HTC Surround

Anyone looking for the perfect Christmas present combination? Telus customers in Canada may want to take a second look at the HTC Surround since anyone who purchases a new Windows Phone 7 handset from them between December 15^th through the 19^th will be treated to a brand new XBOX 360.

We’re not sure if the idea behind the promotion came from Telus or Microsoft, but it looks like someone wants to make sure that a few extra Windows Phone 7 handsets make it under the Christmas tree this year.

In order to qualify for the free XBOX 360, you’ll need to purchase the HTC 7 Surround (or any qualifying Windows Phone 7 handset) with a new three year contract. Telus is not making any guarantees that they will actually have an XBOX 360 in the store when you pick up your shiny new phone, but they do promise they will ship you one.
