Google may be working on an official YouTube app for Windows Phone 7, but if you’re sick of waiting, you may want to check out HTC’s alternative. If you can’t spot the app in the HTC App Hub, you should be able to find it under Apps > Music & Video > New. HTC’s YouTube app may not be as full-featured as Google’s official app for android, but it certainly gets the job done. Users will be able to browse through categories like Most Viewed, Most Discussed, Top Rated, and even your own personal video history. If you happen to be on a Wi-Fi connection with your WP7 handset, be sure to check out the HQ video quality option as well.
HTC’s YouTube app is only available on HTC’s WP7 handsets. So if you’re friend’s complaining that they can’t find a good YouTube app on the WM Marketplace, let them know they should have purchased an HTC device instead.
