European HTC Legends start receiving Android 2.2 OTA update

A little less than 24 hours after HTC broke the news that the HTC Legend’s Froyo update would comment today, HTC has started pushing out the Android 2.2 OTA update.  A few of you have pointed out the Vodafone customers have been enjoying Android 2.2 on the HTC Legend for a while.  This update that is currently being rolled out is only for the unlocked version of the HTC Legend.  If you have a carrier branded phone, your update for the HTC Legend will most likely roll out sometime during Q1 of 2011.

Android 2.2 isn’t a huge update, but HTC Legend owners should see a nice increase in handset performance and responsiveness.  Since HTC has not release details on any new features available with the update, we’re not entirely sure if Flash 10.1 work on the HTC Legend.
