RadioShack will sell the T-Mobile G2 for $149.99 with instant rebate

T-Mobile is still being a little shy about their official launch price on the T-Mobile G2, but if you’re looking to get yourself a deal, you might consider picking up the new Android handset from your local RadioShack store.  RadioShack made the announcement via their Twitter account early this morning, asking their followers to “stay tuned for info.”  We’re hoping that T-mobile will be unveiling the official price for the G2 pretty soon.  The HTC handset is expected to hit T-Mobile store shelves for $199 after a $50 or $100 mail-in-rebate when you sign a new two year contract. T-Mobile customers on their Even More Plus plans will probably have to shell out $500 to purchase the G2 off-contract. Those looking to take advantage of RadioShack’s low pricing might want to follow @RadioShack on Twitter.

I love it when radioshack and wirefly offer great deals on HTC phone! I want to get this, but I can’t get out of my Sprint plan for a few more months. By then, the G2 will be old news!
