Virgin Mobile brings the HTC Legend to Canada

HTC and Android fan in Canada will most likely be glad to hear that the HTC Legend has just landed on Virgin Mobile.  The HTC Legend’s sleek unibody aluminum design, Android 2.1, and 5MP camera  will be a true winner among Virgin Mobile’s smartphone lineup which includes a handful of Blackberry devices and outdated iPhones.  Virgin Mobile’s HTC Legend can be picked up for $79.99 with a three year commitment or for $349.99 for those looking to take advantage of Virgin Mobile’s low pre-paid monthly rates.  The HTC Legend may not be packing a 1GHz Snapdragon processor or a large 3.7 inch display, but HTC has already promised an Android 2.2 update for all their 2010 Android phone which should give the HTC Legend a significant performance boost.

  1. Virgin mobile Canada still no 2.2 (Froyo) for HTC Legend. Originally heard 4th quarter 2010, then mid January 2011. It’s Feb 2011… I want my Froyo. Need app space. Great phone, Virgin going down since Bell bought last 15%. Sir Richard would be disappointed with new poorer customer service.
