QWERTY equipped Android super phone from HTC is in the works

We just got done unboxing the HTC EGO 4G that Google handed out at this year’s I/O conference, but we are already hearing rumors that HTC is working on a QWERTY equipped superpower. The guys over at Tweakers.net claim to have unearthed the new handset profile, named HTC Vision. The HTC Vision will most likely feature the same screen size as the HTC Desire and the DROID Incredible since the resolution of the capacities touch screen is profiled at WVGA.  The kicker is that the HTC Vision will be sporting a full QWERTY keyboards and a more powerful prcessor (possibly a 1GHz Snapdragon).

Many of Android’s early adapters have found it hard to give up their HTC Dream (me included). However, it looks like HTC will finally have a suitable replacement ready for them once their two year contracts expire this coming fall. For now, all we can do is cross our fingers and hope that the HTC Vision is more than just a name. For a mock rendering of what the HTCVision could look like, be sure to check out the source link below.
