HTC Legend Clears FCC for North American Use?

A new HTC phone has recently cleared the FCC. Rumor has it that this is a North American version of the HTC Legend. The original Legend had an FCC ID of PB76100, and the new device has an FCC ID of PB76110. The bands this phone will operate on are between 850 and 1900MHZ (WCDMA), which means that the only US carrier supporting this phone at the moment is AT&T, or for our Canadian friends, Bell, Telus, or Rogers.

While the Legend isn’t the best Android phone on the market, it certainly would be a solid addition to AT&T’s somewhat lackluster Android lineup. The Legend sports a 600MHz processor, a 3.2″ AMOLED screen with multi-touch, optical trackpad, a 5MP camera with auto focus and flash, and is running on Android 2.1.
